Join us for this nonprofit board training to become a certified Board Leader! (must complete all five trainings to become certified). Each training is $25 or sign up for all five for $100.
April 1- Board Roles and Responsibilities with Greta Leach of Mission Matters
This training provides a comprehensive overview of the key roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board members. Participants will gain clarity on governance, fiduciary duties, and strategic leadership while exploring best practices for effective board engagement.
April 8- Nonprofit Financials and Budgeting with Michael Porter of Farm Credit of America
This session designed to equip nonprofit board members with essential skills to understand financial statements, budgets, and key financial indicators. This training will provide practical tools to enhance your financial oversight capabilities, empower informed decision-making, and ensure the fiscal health of your organization. Ideal for both new and experienced board members, this workshop will help demystify nonprofit financials and strengthen your ability to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities effectively.
April 15- Become a Board Ambassador with Melissa DeLaet of the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation
This training equips nonprofit board members with the skills and confidence to serve as passionate and effective ambassadors for their organization. Participants will learn how to represent their nonprofit’s mission, engage stakeholders, and build lasting relationships to strengthen community support and impact.
April 22- Fundraising Essentials with Natalie Lukens, Community Engagement Strategist

April 29- Strategic Visioning with Charity Adams of Vision Fusion
